Every woman loves a pair of great walking shoes. We need comfort and we love style. I have to admit that I love shoes. I'm not one of those women that wears big heels. Years ago I had ankle reconstruction. That ended my high heel days.Now I look for comfort but I refuse to give up being stylish and fun. 
 I was searching the internet and came across these adorable shoes, dimmi Adventures. They come in 12 different colors and patterns. It was so hard choosing which ones were my favorites. When I contacted the wonderful people at Consolidated Shoe Company, I was surprised to find out about the dimmi line of shoes. 100% of dimmi's profits go to medical research. So not only do you get these amazingly comfortable walking shoes, but you can feel good about supporting a great cause. 

I wore my dimmi Adventures on a long day of shopping with my Mom. These cute little shoes were just perfect, with enough cushion on the inside for lots of walking and soft straps that cradled my feet. I love the style and paired them with a soft red top and capris. My daughter went to lunch with us and adored my dimmi Adventurers.

The Story of dimmi

dimmi  is a new footwear brand that makes a line of comfort shoes.  It was born from a personal tragedy.  Consolidated Shoe Company (CSC) has been a family-owned business for four generations.  Its last president, Richard A. Carrington IV, was diagnosed with ALS and passed away at the age of 39.  The impact of the disease to the family and circle of friends and colleagues was enormous.  The experience compelled Dick’s brother, Billy, to take action:  to develop a line of shoes with the sole purpose of funding medical care and research. 

dimmi’s mission is to donate 100% of dimmi profits to medical causes – year in, year out.   Each purchase of dimmi shoes adds to the strength of the dimmi community; and together we can help change lives for the better!
