I had never heard of eShakti before I was contacted by them. I'm not much of a fashion chick. I like classic and simple clothes. Much to my surprise, eShakti was exactly my type of clothes. Their designs are simple and classic. The clothes are well made and are made to fit YOU.

I was sent the Jersey Peplum Jersey Knit Tunic for my review. I love the fact that they ask for my measurements and even ask how long I wanted the shirt. I am a fairly tall woman and I normally hate that shirts are too short for me.

The quality of the fabric was fantastic. It was thick and not cheaply made. It is now my favorite shirt. It goes with almost anything and it one of those shirts that I can wear casually or dress it up. 

I can't wait to buy some other beautiful clothes.

While the Police Pen is unique, it is something I can use everyday at work. It is made with 30-06 and 308 casings. I love that it is refillable. This makes the perfect gift for any man or woman.

You all know how much I love Etsy Stores. I think it is fantastic that there is a place where you can buy and sell home made things. I have found so many Christmas gifts on Etsy. I came across GaGirl Jewelry and Gift. The store owner was so nice and helpful. She has a huge variety of spices. All of them look so good. I was sent a set of  4 Spice Mixes for a review. 

This spice set was so much fun to work with. 

I was sent 4 types of Spice Mixes: Salsa Mix, Hamburger Seasoning Mix, Taco Seasoning Mix and Olive Oil Bread Dipping Mix.

All of the spice mixes were fresh. 
I tried the Hamburger Mix first. It was fantastic. I added the exact about that was suggested and they were so yummy. It was the perfect seasoning blend. Hubby loved it too. The burgers were flavorful and juicy, just like we like it. 

Next I tried the Olive Oil Bread Dipping Mix. I made a loaf of Steakhouse Bread. It is my favorite bread to eat with Olive Oil. I added 2 Tablespoons to the Olive Oil. It was heaven! I'm not sure the exact amount of spices that are in this pack, but I have tried to make a spice mix before and never succeeded in finding the right combination. I could just imagine this being served in one of my favorite restaurants.

Just in time for the Holiday Season!

I may be stuck in the Stone Age, but I love my iPhone 4. I do not want to upgrade until my phone eventually dies. Like everyone, my phone goes everywhere with me and I have dropped it so many times it's a wonder it survived.  I am a big believer in OtterBox. OtterBox Protects my phone while keeping it thin enough that it still fits in my pocket when I'm at work. OtterBox is stylish and protects my iPhone from all of my mishaps. 

OtterBox sent the Defender Series to me to try out. Since it is hunting season, I chose the RealTree Camo style.

The camo style is very nice. What surprised me about the Defender Series is how strong the outer band is. I have an OtterBox from a few years ago, this is much more durable. 
The case is hard plastic but feels lighter than my old one. I work outdoors some of the time. Dust and pollen and other things can get trapped in the parts of an iPhone. Not with my OtterBox. It covers and keeps out dirt and grime. 

OtterBox has served me well over the last couple of years. I have been using OtterBox since 2010. I know there are new cases on the market, but why change? OtterBox has never let me down. My iPhone 4 has been protected by OtterBox since the day I got it. I highly recommend it for protection of your phone.

Back to Business

After several days of the flu bug, I am back. I fell behind on some reviews and giveaways. I will work hard this weekend to get most of them together when I'm not working my full time job. I have to tell you a funny story about what happened at work. 

Only in Louisiana...While at work we get a call about an alligator in the roadway. Not just any alligator, but a yellow one. I have to say that I have never heard of a yellow alligator. After a long while of searching, the yellow alligator was no where to be found. I'm not sure if that alligator is going to be like Bigfoot, but the man believed he saw it. Who knows? I know there are white ones, but yellow?
