About Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by and reading my little old blog. My name is Stacey.
I am the mother of three wonderful kiddies. My oldest Son and my Daughter are grown and I have
a teenage son still at home.

I work full time as a police officer. My Hubby is a police officer also. It is such a great job that is rewarding but also heart-wrenching. I often get asked, "Do you actually do the job of a police officer?". The answer is yes. I respond to calls, assist citizens in need, and make arrests.

I started blogging when I began having the semi-empty nest thing happen. When my youngest son started having a life away from home, I found myself with too much free time on my hands. A good friend of mine had a blog that I loved and I thought, "Why Not?". Thus began my blogging addiction.

When I'm not working or blogging, Hubby and I enjoy Geocaching. We have had so many great adventures and met interesting people on our road trips. If you are lucky enough to travel...DO IT! Even if you just go somewhere close to home that you have never been.

A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. It was a life changing experience. It changed the way I see myself in the crazy world and how I respond to the good and bad things around me. Cancer made me a better person and as hard as that time was, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have been Cancer Free for over a year now. I am a survivor!

Last but not least, I love my Piglet Scooter! When Hubby bought Piglet for me, we told everyone at work about it. Jokes were made about my "HOG". My Captain said, "That's not a HOG, that's more like a PIGLET". The name was perfect.

That's about all.
Hope you enjoy spending time reading
Adventures of Piglet Scooter

  1. Congratulations on being cancer free for over a year! Thank you for sharing about yourself. Your husband is too funny! I love how your scooter got its name and that is how you chose to name your blog. Keep up the good work and as we learned from a famous police show: "Be safe out there."
