Headache Hammock Review and Giveaway!!

While searching for something to relieve my stress headaches, I came across the
Headache Hammock
Most of my headaches are cause by stress and tension. I am constantly rubbing the base of my head and neck trying to relieve the pressure. I read everything I could find about it. I am very interested in anything that I can use that does not require taking medications. I have tried massagers and heating pads with only minimal relief.
I was sent the Headache Hammock to try. The great thing about it is that you can use warm or cold therapy with it. It can be warmed in the microwave or placed in the freezer. Cold seems to work best for my headaches so I placed it in the freezer for 20 minutes. I put the Headache Hammock on the ground and after just a couple of minutes I could feel the tension easing. After about 10 minutes my headache was gone. The only problem I had was that I didn't want to get up. I was so comfortable. The Headache Hammock felt like what I wish my pillow would do for my head at night.
It's difficult to see from the pictures, but it is made of foam and is very comfortable. It cradled my head and neck like it was made especially for me.

Here is a little more information on the Headache Hammock  from their website:
"By placing your head properly on the device, the specialized high density foam will lift up the head and mobilize the back of the skull called the occiput, allowing the entire head to float free in space, while at the same time applying gentle pressure to the muscular tension in the upper neck. When this occurs, the muscular tension will relax and the head will settle into the hammock of the device. In many cases, both acute and chronic headaches as well as neck pain will improve rapidly and when used regularly the Headache Hammock may reduce headache and neck pain completely."
"Developed by a doctorthe Headache Hammock is a FDA registered orthopedic traction headrest and is the naturalremedy for headaches, including certain types of migraines, as well as upper neck pain and muscle tension."

I loved this product and felt so much better after using it.

  1. People spen too much money on treatment or remedies that may not provide real pain relief.

  2. The Headache Hammock can help relieve headache and neck pain by releasing this muscular tension using an occipital lift. By placing your head properly on the device, the specialized high density foam will lift up the head and mobilize the back of the skull called the occiput, allowing the entire head to float free in space, while at the same time applying gentle pressure to the muscular tension in the upper neck. The headache hammock can also relieve pregnancy headaches and there is free shipping.

  3. When used properly the foam lifts your head so that it floats and also helps with the tension in your neck. This sounds like something I would love to try. Thanks for the giveaway.

  6. It lifts the head and mobilizes the back of the skull so the head can "float free in space" and applies gentle pressure to the muscular tension in the upper neck.

  7. I learned the people spend a lot of money trying to treat headaches I learned the with the "The Headache Hammock, it is Simple to Use, Safe, Effective and Portable
Warm it or Cool it to Enhance its Therapeutic Effectiveness
Manage Pain in 10 to 15 Minutes"

I learned that it lifts the head and is also FDA registered. I have a son who has PTSD from Iraq and concussion syndrome and he gets severe headaches, I wonder if this would help him.

  8. I learned that 50 million people suffer from chronic headaches and neck pain. I also learned that I could really use the headache hammock, because I get headaches often and I always feel like my neck pain is the cause. I didn't even know this existed. :) Thank you.

  12. Well, I'd never heard of "Occipital" nor of the many of feature and benefits, But like what I've read and while a tad "esoteric" - it just really makes sense to me and definitely worth a try - especially after your glowing endorsement. I'm not sure how "comforting" it is to know that so many others are suffering the same kind of pain (does "misery REALLY" love company???")

My doctor wants me to see a pain management specialist which sounds both expensive and somewhat less than probably, especially because I need relief NOW!)

So thanks for both the excellent giveaway and the very welcome intro to this fine product!

  24. I wish I would have heard about this while the giveaway was going on. It sounds like it worked for you, but it doesn't look very comfortable. Are you still using it for your tension headaches?
